NBCNEWS: CACHE OF EXPLOSIVES VANISHED FROM SITE IN IRAQ BEFORE TROOPS ARRIVED...

The NYTIMES urgently reported on Monday in an apprent October Surprise: The Iraqi interim government and the U.N. nuclear agency have warned the United States that nearly 380 tons of powerful conventional explosives are now missing from one of Iraq's most sensitive former military installations.[The source behind the NYT story first went to CBSNEWS' 60 MINUTES last Wednesday, but the beleaguered network wasn't able to get the piece on the air as fast as the newspaper could print. Executive producer Jeff Fager hoped to break the story during a high-impact election eve broadcast of 60 MINS on October 31.]

Jumping on the TIMES exclusive, Dem presidential candidate John Kerry blasted the Bush administration for its failure to "guard those stockpiles.""This is one of the great blunders of Iraq, one of the great blunders of this administration," Kerry said.

In an election week rush:
**ABCNEWS Mentioned The Iraq Explosives Depot At Least 4 Times
**CBSNEWS Mentioned The Iraq Explosives Depot At Least 7 Times
**MSNBC Mentioned The Iraq Explosives Depot At Least 37 Times
**CNN Mentioned The Iraq Explosives Depot At Least 50 Times

But Monday night, NBCNEWS reported: The 380 tons of powerful conventional explosives were already missing back in April 10, 2003 -- when U.S. troops arrived at the installation south of Baghdad! An NBCNEWS crew embedded with troops moved in to secure the Al-Qaqaa weapons facility on April 10, 2003, one day after the liberation of Iraq.

According to NBCNEWS, the HMX and RDX explosives were already missing when the American troops arrived. "The U.S. Army was at the site one day after the liberation and the weapons were already gone," a top Republican blasted from Washington late Monday. The International Atomic Energy Agency inspectors last saw the explosives in January 2003 when they took an inventory and placed fresh seals on the bunkers.

Dem vp hopeful John Edwards blasted Bush for not securing the explosives: "It is reckless and irresponsible to fail to protect and safeguard one of the largest weapons sites in the country. And by either ignoring these mistakes or being clueless about them, George Bush has failed. He has failed as our commander in chief; he has failed as president."

A senior Bush official e-mailed DRUDGE late Monday: "Let me get this straight, are Mr. Kerry and Mr. Edwards now saying we did not go into Iraq soon enough? We should have invaded and liberated Iraq sooner?"

Top Kerry adviser Joe Lockhart fired back Monday night: "In a shameless attempt to cover up its failure to secure 380 tons of highly explosive material in Iraq, the White House is desperately flailing in an effort to escape blame. Instead of distorting John Kerry’s words, the Bush campaign is now falsely and deliberately twisting the reports of journalists. It is the latest pathetic excuse from an administration that never admits a mistake, no matter how disastrous."

Why is the U.N. nuclear agency suddenly warning now that insurgents in Iraq may have obtained nearly 400 tons of missing explosives -- in early 2003?

NBCNEWS Jim Miklaszewski quoted one official: "Recent disagreements between the administration and the head of the International Atomic Energy Agency makes this announcement appear highly political."

Only 15 days before the election. A couple of things to consider before that day:

The other day, my nine year old son wanted to know why we were at war.

My husband looked at our son and then looked at me. My husband and I were in the Army during the Gulf War and we would be honored to serve and defend our Country again today. I knew that my husband would give him a good explanation.

My husband thought for a few minutes and then told my son to go stand in our front living room window.

He said "Son, stand there and tell me what you see?"

"I see trees and cars and our neighbor's houses." he replied.

"OK, now I want you to pretend that our house and our yard is the United States of America and you are President Bush."

Our son giggled and said "OK."

"Now son, I want you to look out the window and pretend that every house and yard on this block is a different country" my husband said.

"OK Dad, I'm pretending."

"Now I want you to stand there and look out the window and pretend you see Saddam come out of his house with his wife, he has her by the hair and is hitting her. You see her bleeding and crying. He hits her in the face, he throws her on the ground, then he starts to kick her to death. Their children run out and are afraid to stop him, they are screaming and crying, they are watching this but do nothing because they are kids and they are afraid of their father. You see all of this, son.... what do you do?"

"Dad?"

"What do you do son?"

"I'd call the police, Dad."

"OK. Pretend that the police are the United Nations. They take your call. They listen to what you know and saw but they refuse to help. What do you do then son?"

"Dad.......... but the police are supposed to help!" My son starts to whine.

"They don't want to son, because they say that it is not their place or your place to get involved and that you should stay out of it," my husband says.

"But Dad...he killed her!!" my son exclaims.

"I know he did...but the police tell you to stay out of it. Now I want you to look out that window and pretend you see our neighbor who you're pretending is Saddam turn around and do the same thing to his children."

"Daddy...he kills them?"

"Yes son, he does. What do you do?"

"Well, if the police don't want to help, I will go and ask my next door neighbor to help me stop him." our son says.

"Son, our next door neighbor sees what is happening and refuses to get involved as well. He refuses to open the door and help you stop him," my husband says.

"But Dad, I NEED help!!! I can't stop him by myself!!"

"WHAT DO YOU DO SON?" Our son starts to cry. "OK, no one wants to help you, the man across the street saw you ask for help and saw that no one would help you stop him. He stands taller and puffs out his chest. Guess what he does next son?"

"What Daddy?"

"He walks across the street to the old ladies house and breaks down her door and drags her out, steals all her stuff and sets her house on fire and then...he kills her. He turns around and sees you standing in the window and laughs at you. WHAT DO YOU DO?"

"Daddy..."

"WHAT DO YOU DO?"

Our son is crying and he looks down and he whispers, "I'd close the blinds, Daddy."

My husband looks at our son with tears in his eyes and asks him..."Why?"

"Because Daddy.....the police are supposed to help people who needs them...and they won't help.... You always say that neighbors are supposed to HELP neighbors, but they won't help either...they won't help me stop him...I'm afraid....I can't do it by myself Daddy.....I can't look out my window and just watch him do all these terrible things and...and.....do nothing...so....I'm just going to close the blinds.... so I can't see what he's doing........and I'm going to pretend that it is not happening."

I start to cry.

My husband looks at our nine year old son standing in the window, looking pitiful and ashamed at his answers to my husband's questions and says... "Son"

"Yes, Daddy."

"Open the blinds because that man.... he's at your front door..."WHAT DO YOU DO?"

My son looks at his father, anger and defiance in his eyes. He balls up his tiny fists and looks his father square in the eyes, without hesitation he says: "I DEFEND MY FAMILY DAD!! I'M NOT GONNA LET HIM HURT MOMMY OR MY SISTER, DAD!!! I'M GONNA FIGHT HIM, DAD, I'M GONNA FIGHT HIM!!!!!"

I see a tear roll down my husband's cheek and he grabs our son to his chest and hugs him tight, and says... "It's too late to fight him, he's too strong and he's already at YOUR front door son.....you should have stopped him BEFORE he killed his wife, and his children and the old lady across the way. You have to do what's right, even if you have to do it alone, before it's too late." my husband whispers.

I'm trying to get all this political stuff straightened out in my head soI'll know how to vote come November. Right now, we have one guy saying one thing. Then the other guy says something else. Who to believe. Lemme see, have I got this straight?

Ahh, it's so confusing! Every year an independent tax watchdog group analyzes the average tax burdenon Americans, and then calculates the "Tax Freedom Day". This is the dayafter which the money you earn goes to you, not the government. This year, tax freedom day was April 11th. That's the earliest it has been since 1991. It's latest day ever was May 2nd, which occurred in 2000. Notice anything special about those dates? Recently, John Kerry gave a speech in which he claimed Americans areactually paying more taxes under Bush, despite the tax cuts. He gave no explanation and provided no data for this claim. Another interesting fact: Both George Bush and John Kerry are wealthy men. Bush owns only one home, his ranch in Texas. Kerry owns 4 mansions, allworth several million dollars. (His ski resort home in Idaho is an old barnbrought over from Europe in pieces. Not your average A-frame). Bush paid $250,000 in taxes this year; Kerry paid $90,000. Does that soundright? The man who wants to raise your taxes obviously has figured out a wayto avoid paying his own.

HUGE NEWS. City Manager Tom Finnie is on! Next Monday @ 7:00.

We have a venue for the ANGELS. Listen Wednesday AM for announcement.

Lots of request for this.

WORST PRESIDENT IN HISTORY ?????????????????Regardless of who you will vote for in the election this is interesting.
FDR led us into World War II. Germany never attacked us: Japan did.
From 1941-1945, 450,000 lives were lost, an average of 112,500 per year.
Truman finished that war and started one in Korea, North Korea neverattacked us. From 1950-1953, 55,000 lives were lost, an average of18,333per year.
John F. Kennedy started the Vietnam conflict in 1962. Vietnam neverattacked us. I think history might show Eisenhower committed the troops andKennedy was honoring that commitment.
Johnson turned Vietnam into a quagmire. From 1965-1975, 58,000 liveswerelost, an average of 5,800 per year.
Clinton went to war in Bosnia without UN or French consent, Bosnia neverattacked us. He was offered Osama bin Laden's head on a platter threetimes by Sudan and did nothing. Osama has attacked us on multiple occasions.
In the two years since terrorists attacked us, President Bush hasliberated two countries, crushed the Taliban, crippled al-Qaida, put nuclearinspectors in Lybia, Iran and North Korea without firing a shot, andcaptured a terrorist who slaughtered 300,000 of his own people. We lost600 soldiers, an average of 300 a year. Bush did all this abroad while not
allowing another terrorist attack at home.
There were 39 combat related killings in Iraq during the month ofJanuary..... in the fair city of Detroit (Michigan) there were 35murders inthe month of January. That's one American city folks, about as deadly asthe entire war torn country of Iraq!
Worst president in history? Come on!
The Democrats are complaining about how long the war is taking, but...
It took less time to take Iraq than it took Janet Reno to take theBranch Davidian compound.
That was a 51 day operation. We've been looking for evidence of chemicalweapons in Iraq for less time than it took Hillary Clinton to find theRose Law Firm billing records.
It took less time for the 3rd Infantry Division and the Marines todestroy the Medina Republican Guard than it took Teddy Kennedy to call thepolice after his Oldsmobile sank at Chappaquiddick.
It took less time to take Iraq than it took to count the votes inFlorida!!!!

WOW! What a turnout last night. Thank you all. Stay tuned to the website: www.ksgf.com next week for pics. Planning on doing it again for last debate, Wednesday, October 13th. Got a great call this morning from someone who did a better job than any "talking head" in breaking out last night's debate.

Good morning, Mr. Jericho!
Kerry was not prepared. Oh, he was well prepped on style, but the substance
was all DNC-wrong:
(1) Talking about going into Afghanistan to get Osama. Wrong! Osama is
hiding in caves in Pakistan, not in Afghanistan. That's why the Pakistanis
are the ones searching for him, because they won't allow coalition troops
inside their borders. Kerry shouldn't have skipped all those intel
briefings.
(2) "We didn't need that tax cut." I'm sure a wealthy guy like Kerry didn't
need it, but us "just plain folks" did, and the economy surely did. Those
tax cuts are what stimulated the economy out of the recession that was
foretold by the the fall in exconomic indicators starting around mid-year
Y2K (twilight of the Clinton-Gore years).
(3) Hanoi John kept repeating that Bush "rushed" into war with Iraq.
Twelve years and seventeen UN resolutions is not a "rush."
(4) Incredibly, Kerry flip-flopped in less than 90 minutes time. First he
said that going to war with Iraq was a mistake, then he said it was not a
mistake. I guess the guy just can't keep himself from waffling.
(5) The president always has the right to go to war. "But if and when you
do it Jim, you have to do it in a way that passes the global test..." The
global test? Disaster. Major disaster. UN John surfaces. (Hugh Hewitt,
hughhewitt.com)
(6) We should have given Iran nuclear fuel? Another disaster, and totally
irresponsible, Senator. Once again he proves that he has no business being
president. Iran can't be trusted not to enrich uranium for bombs. And what
do the Iranians need a nuke reactor for, anyway? Not for the power, as
they're sitting on one of the largest resevoirs of the world's oil supply.
(7) Kerry wants bilateral talks with North Korea. Let's get this straight:
30 nations are not enough for a Colation of the Willing, but 5 nations are
too many to sit down and convince North Korea to give up nukes? Deal out
China, the only country in the world which has some influence over Kim?
This does not compute.
(8) "My position on Iraq has been consistent." I laughed so hard I fell out
of my chair on this one. Bald-faced lie, and the voters know it.
(9) "I will kill the bunker-busting nuclear weapons program." Ack! Kerry
revives the nuclear freeze! And years after Reagan proved that a freeze was
the wrong way to go.
(10) "I didn't say I would bring home our troops in six months, I said six
months if..." Wow, I can see that one in a GOP campaign ad. Kerry also
said four years. Did he say six months before he said four years, or was it
the other way around?
John Kerry demonstrated last night that he is ill-equipped to sit in the
oval office. He displayed a disturbing ignorance on key foreign policy
issues. Even more troubling, some of his notions are patently dangerous.

I'll add more later. See ya, you putz's you!
