How to Poop at Work

We've all been there but don't like to admit it...
We've all kicked back in our cubicles and suddenly felt something brewing down below. As much as we try to convince ourselves otherwise, the *WORK POOP* is inevitable. For those who hate pooping at work, following is the Survival Guide for taking a dump at work.

*CROP DUSTING* When farting, you walk really fast around the office so the smell is not in your area and everyone else gets a whiff, but doesn't know where it came from. Be careful when you do this. Do not stop until the full fart has been expelled. Walk an extra 30 feet to make sure the smell has left your pants.

*FLY BY* The act of scouting out a bathroom before pooping.
Walk in and check for other poopers. If there are others in the bathroom, leave and come back again. Be careful not to become a *FREQUENT FLYER*. People may become suspicious if they catch you constantly going into the bathroom.

*ESCAPEE* A fart that slips out while taking a pee or forcing a poop in a stall. This is usually accompanied by a sudden wave of embarrassment. If you release an escapee, do not acknowledge it. Pretend it did not happen. If you are a man and are standing next to the farter in the urinal,
pretend you did not hear it. No one likes an escapee. It is uncomfortable for all involved. Making a joke or laughing makes both parties feel uneasy.

*JAILBREAK* When forcing a poop, several farts slip out at a machine gun pace. This is usually a side effect of diarrhea or a hangover. If this should happen, do not panic. Remain in the stall until everyone has left the bathroom to spare everyone the awkwardness of what just occurred.

*COURTESY FLUSH* The act of flushing the toilet the instant the poop hits the water. This reduces the amount of air time the poop has to stink up the bathroom. This can help you avoid being caught doing the *WALK OF SHAME*.

*WALK OF SHAME* Walking from the stall, to the sink, to the door after you have just stunk up the bath room.. This can be a very uncomfortable moment if someone walks in and busts you. As with farts, it is best to pretend that the smell does not exist. Can be avoided with the use of the *COURTESY FLUSH*.

*OUT OF THE CLOSET POOPER* A colleague who poops at work and is Doggone proud of it. You will often see an Out Of The Closet Pooper enter the bathroom with a newspaper or magazine under their arm. Always look around the office for the Out Of The Closet Pooper before entering the bathroom.

*SAFE HAVENS* A seldom used bathroom somewhere in the building where you can least expect visitors. Try floors that are predominantly of the opposite sex. This will reduce the odds of a pooper of your sex entering the bathroom.

*TURD BURGLAR* Someone who does not realize that you are in the stall and tries to force the door open. This is one of the most shocking and vulnerable moments that can occur when taking a poop at work. If this occurs, remain in the stall until the *Turd Burglar* leaves. This way you will avoid all uncomfortable eye contact.

*CAMO-COUGH* A phony cough that alerts all new entrants into the bathroom that you are in a stall.. This can be used to cover-up a *WATERMELON*, or to alert potential *TURDBURGLAR*. Very effective when used in conjunction with a *SHIRLEY TEMPLE*.

*SHIRLEY TEMPLE* A subtle toe-tapping that is used to alert potential *TURD BURGLARS*that you are occupying a stall. This will remove all doubt that the stall is occupied. If you hear a *SHIRLEY TEMPLE*, leave the bathroom immediately so the pooper can poop in peace.

*WATERMELON* A poop that creates a loud splash when hitting the toilet water. This is also an arrassing incident. If you feel a Watermelon coming on, create a diversion. See *CAMO-COUGH*.

SOME VARIETIES OF POOP YOU SHOULD BE AWARE OF:

*The King Poop* = This kind is the kind of poop that killed Elvis. It doesn't come until you're all sweaty, trembling and purple from straining so hard.

* Bali Belly Poop* = You poop so much you lose 5 lbs.

*Cement Block* =You wish you'd gotten a spinal block before you poop.

*Cork Poop* = Even after the third flush, it's still floating in there. How do I get rid of it? This poop usually happens at someone else's house.

*The Bungee Poop* = The kind of poop that just hangs off your rear before it falls into the water.

*The Crippler* = The kind of poop where you have to sit on the toilet so long your legs go numb from the waist down.

*The Chitty Chitty Bang Bang* = The kind of poop that hits you when you're trapped in your car in a traffic jam.

*The Party Pooper* = The giant poop you take at a party. And when you flush the toilet, you watch in horror as the water starts to rise....

NOW EVERYONE TRY TO GO POOP IN PEACE

Yea I know you've seen this before...but it is SOOOO true!

If a conservative doesn’t like guns, he doesn’t buy one.
If a liberal doesn't like guns, he feels that no one should have one.

If a conservative is a vegetarian, he doesn’t eat meat.
If a liberal is, he wants to ban all meat products for everyone.

If a conservative sees a foreign threat, he thinks about how to defeat his enemy.
A liberal wonders how to surrender gracefully and still look good.

If a conservative has chosen to be a homosexual, he respectfully leads his life.
If a liberal is homosexual, he loudly demands legislated respect.

If a black man or Hispanic are conservative, they see themselves as independently successful.
Their liberal counterparts see themselves as victims in need of government protection.

If a conservative is down-and-out, he thinks about how to better his situation.
A liberal wonders who is going to take care of him.

If a conservative doesn’t like a talk show host, he switches channels.
Liberals demand that those they don’t like be shut down.

If a conservative is a non-believer, he doesn’t go to church.
A liberal non-believer wants any mention of God or religion silenced.

If a conservative decides he needs health care, he goes about shopping for it, or may choose a job that provides it.
A liberal demands that the rest of us pay for his.

The US Debt Clock in Real Time

This will sober you up fast!

http://www.usdebtclock.org/

A letter I got

Yesterday when I was at the dr.'s office, I met the most AMAZING two year old boy named Zachary. He had incredible manners and was talking up a storm. His mother and I were talking and she asked him to say the Pledge of Allegiance for me. He stopped playing with the toys and stood in front of me and said it.....perfectly!!! I was blown away!! I told the mom "kudos" for teaching him the Pledge of Allegiance, especially at such a young age. I then said it was great for him to learn it now, because he won't learn it once he gets in school.
Then she said, "It's his favorite thing to say. He also loves singing all kinds of patriotic songs. His favorite is "I'm Proud to be an American". I asked Zachary if he would sing it for me, and he did. I got goosebumps, and tears welled up in my eyes.
Then she said that her parents are both Vietnam Vets. On the 4th of July, he sang it for them and everyone that was at their celebration couldn't help but cry.
I was so impressed with this little two year old boy and his mother for being so patriotic. Why can't ALL Americans be this way???
I just wanted to share this story with you. It gave me some hope yesterday......and maybe it will give you some hope as well.

News from

Senator Claire McCaskill

For Immediate Release

***Media Advisory***

McCaskill Hosts Health Care Listening Forums Across Missouri in August

In West Plains and Springfield, McCaskill hosts events to listen to concerns related to health care reform efforts

WASHINGTON, D.C. – As more and more Americans and businesses struggle to afford health care coverage, U.S. Senator Claire McCaskill has been hearing from Missourians who are concerned about health care reform efforts in Washington. During the August home work period, McCaskill will be traveling across the state hosting a series of town hall events and roundtables to gather input and listen to concerns.

On Monday, August 31st, McCaskill will be traveling across the state to host health care forums in West Plains and Springfield. Visit McCaskill’s website to sign up to attend the West Plains forum or the Springfield forum. McCaskill has already hosted forums in Kennett, Poplar Bluff, Jefferson County, Hannibal, Moberly, and Kansas City. Forums are scheduled for Warrensburg and Jefferson City on Wednesday, August 26th for a total of ten open forums across the state. For more information, please contact one of McCaskill’s five Missouri offices.

McCaskill is committed to reforming health care in America in a way that does not add to the federal deficit. As the health care reform bill makes its way through the relevant Senate committees, McCaskill will be looking for a bill that provides consumer choices, brings down the overall cost of health care and delivers better outcomes for patients. During her listening tour, she intends to gather Missourians’ views on health care and take them back with her when she returns to Washington to debate the health care bill in the fall.

Constituents are highly encouraged to register for the events. Depending on the turn-out, there may be more people wishing to attend the event than there is capacity to hold them. Seating may be limited and will be first come, first serve. Additional events will be advised in the next few days.

Individuals with disabilities who require auxiliary aids or services to participate in these events should contact Crystal Quade at 417-868-8745, no later than Friday, August 28, 2009.

I don't do chain mail but I will share this with you!

This was sent by Maj Joe Sturtevant, USMC ret, VMO-6, 1st MAW, QTCB 68-69, and forwarded to me.

One of the "Band of Brothers" soldiers died on June 17, 2009.

We're hearing a lot today about big splashy memorial services.

I want a nationwide memorial service for Darrell "Shifty" Powers.

Shifty volunteered for the airborne in WWII and served with Easy Company of the 506th Parachute Infantry Regiment, part of the 101st Airborne Infantry.

If you've seen Band of Brothers on HBO or the History Channel, you know Shifty. His character appears in all 10 episodes, and Shifty himself is interviewed in several of them.

I met Shifty in the Philadelphia airport several years ago. I didn't know who he was at the time. I just saw an elderly gentleman having trouble reading his ticket. I offered to help, assured him that he was at the right gate, and noticed the "Screaming Eagle", the symbol of the 101st Airborne, on his hat.

Making conversation, I asked him if he'd been in the 101st Airborne, or if his son was serving. He said quietly that he had been in the 101st. I thanked him for his service, then asked him when he served, and how many jumps he made.

Quietly and humbly, he said, "Well, I guess I signed up in 1941 or so, and was in until sometime in 1945 . . . " at which point my heart skipped.

At that point, again, very humbly, he said, "I made the 5 training jumps at Toccoa, and then jumped into Normandy. . . do you know where Normandy is?"

At this point my heart stopped.

I told him yes, I know exactly where Normandy was and I know what D-Day was.

At that point he said "I also made a second jump into Holland, into Arnhem."

I was standing with a genuine war hero . . . . and then I realized that it was June, just after the anniversary of D-Day.

I asked Shifty if he was on his way back from France, and he said; "Yes. And it's real sad because these days so few of the guys are left, and those that are, lots of them can't make the trip." My heart was in my throat and I didn't know hat to say.

I helped Shifty get onto the plane and then realized he was back in Coach, while I was in First Class. I sent the flight attendant back to get him and said that I wanted to switch seats. When Shifty came forward, I got up out of the seat and told him I wanted him to have it, that I'd take his in coach.

He said, "No, son, you enjoy that seat. Just knowing that there are still some who remember what we did and still care is enough to make an old man very happy." His eyes were filling up as he said it. And mine are brimming up now as I write this.

Shifty died on June 17 after fighting cancer.

There was no parade.

No big event in Staples Center.

No wall-to-wall, back-to-back, 24x7 news coverage.

No weeping fans on television.

And that's not right.

Let's give Shifty his own Memorial Service, online, in our own quiet way.

Please forward this email to everyone you know. Especially, to the veterans.

We NEED to Laugh!

We all need a little stress-reliever! This only takes a minute. It's silly but lets be silly for a short time and have a little fun.

Sometimes when you have a stressful day or week, you need some silliness to break up the day. If we are honest, we have a lot more stressful days than not.

Here is your dose of humor...

And don't go all adult - a senior manager is now known far & wide as Dorky Gizzardsniffer!

The following is excerpted from a children's book, Captain Underpants And the Perilous Plot Professor Poopypants, by Dave Pilkey, in which the evil Professor forces everyone to assume new names...

So:-

1. Use the third letter of your first name to determine your New first name:

q = buckle
r = gizzard
s = lickin
t = snickle

3. Use the third letter of your last name to determine the second half of your new last name:

d = nose
e = hump
f = breath
g = pants h = shorts
i = lips
j = honker
k = head

News Release

For Immediate Release

Mayor Jim O'Neal said the special City Council meeting scheduled for 6 p.m., Wednesday to hear public input on City Utilities' proposed use of eminent domain for its new bus-transfer facility has been cancelled.

City Utilities informed City staff late this afternoon that it is withdrawing its motion in Federal Bankruptcy Court to lift the stay on the St. Louis Street property proposed for the bus-transfer facility. CU also has asked that its request to acquire that property be tabled at Thursday night's Planning & Zoning Commission meeting.

City Utilities presented information about its three-year site-selection process to the City Council in a special meeting today. Following the open presentation, the Council and CU representatives met in closed session under the Missouri Sunshine Law exemption for real-estate negotiations.

The Council did not take any votes in closed session, which was adjourned at 2:30 p.m.

Co-State Director, MO FairTax.org

Background:
MO HJR 36 has passed the MO House and will be heard in the Senate Ways & Means Committee (currently promised for Wed at 12 noon but subject to change at the Chairman's discretion). Opposing groups have misconstrued the facts of the bill claiming it will raise the current MO state sales tax from 4.225% to 9%. In reality, it will raise the sales tax from the current rate TO 5.11% NOT BY 5.11%. Liberal advocates of the progressive income tax are calling for people to show up en mass to protest this bill and prevent its passage in the MO Senate. If passed in the Senate, the MO FairTax (the first state bill modeled after the national FairTax bill [HR-25] including a prebate resulting in a totally untaxed low-wage earner) will go straight to a referendum by the people without need for the Governor's approval. It would be on the ballot in Aug or Nov 2010 (probably Nov) and be effective in 2012 if it passes a vote of the people.

The biggest significance of this issue is that, if passed, MO could be the incubator for proving that the FairTax works and offers to be an economic magnet to business. Once the FairTax's validity is established in time, instead of theory, the path would be paved for other states and eventually the federal government to switch to this economic model.
