If we are going to spend money {read government} then spend it on something that makes sense. A show piece Library makes sense!

I think a downtown library is a great idea, however the one on Booneville (it is on Booneville isn't it?)is probably considered to be downtown.
Clearly, that area needs a more universal draw.

I just stumbled across this site and don't have a username or password, but I had a couple of comments.
Yes, NAFTA is screwing us all, but what do you expect from a 26,000 page piece of legislation. How many really believe that the NAFTA legislation was read and seriouly debated. Just more propaganda.
Of course, then you have the PATRIOT ACT and the fact that Ron Paul from Texas and others are on record that they weren't allowed to read it or were barely given any time before they had to vote on it. Why did only Ron Paul and a few others vote against it?
Let us also not fall into the trap of the overused labels, such as Liberal and Conservative. That used to mean something. But then you find out about the "Liberals" and the "Conservatives" being members of Skull & Bones or The Order of Death (it's official name) and going to the occult rituals at Bohemian Grove once a year. Does running around naked and being involved in occult based clubs fit "Conservative"? Of course, we could all probably agree that this type of behavior wouldn't be good even if these leaders were "Liberals".
You don't have to have a user name, but int this case, I'd have wanted to remain anonymous too.
