OK. She is NOT the second coming, she is NOT the "chosen one", she is just a woman but what a woman. No not her looks....her politics. This lady has almost single handedly resurrected the conservative hopes for 2008.
As you would expect the FLAAPL's {Flaming Liberal Anti-American Pagan Lunatics} are doing all they can to destroy the "hockey mom" from Alaska including "fabricating" stories.

In what ways exactly? This is what I don't get. People saying she is so great but at what?

And the other side isn't doing the same? It's politics as usual and both sides are to blame.
What are your thoughts on the "Bridge to Nowhere"? What are your thoughts on the TrooperGate scandal?
And why is this woman so important? She is not running for President, she is running for VP. There is a big difference. All the pictures I've seen lately have her standing up front with McCain standing in the background. This election is not about her, it's about McCain and his views and issues. Good thing he found someone to take the spotlight off of him for a while, huh?
There have been numerous stories on her less then stellar fiscal record as it pertains to earmarks and feeding at the federal government trough.
One can NOT proclaim to be "conservative" then use the taxpayers dollars to fund projects which aren't needed in the community. We have an Ice Park, soon to have a Jordan Valley Gateway Project and numerous other NOT a function of government projects which were funded either by the feds, the state, or local taxes and most are funded by all three, this isn't a principled position of someone who proclaims to be conservative.
Plus JFKerry got fried on his decision to support the war before he opposed it, and Mrs Palin can say the same on the bridge to nowhere she was for it before she opposed it and even took the money which was allocated for the project although NO bridge has been constructed. Taking the money is also NOT a principled position for a conservative.
I guess Mrs. Palin and Kenny Hulshof would make a good pair in terms of fiscally irresponsible conservatives even though that position once again isn't the position of principles.
McCain wanting unchecked immigration then saying he is strong on national defense is an oxymoron and once again isn't the principled position.
I can't figure out which is worse the communist leaning socialist democrats, or the socialist leaning fascist republicans.
